This
is how the bus looked when I first got it. There was a lot of yellow
paint showing through and there were various stickers placed on it.
First
I removed all of the stickers and painted the bumpers, trailer hitch,
grill, and headlight frames black. I also primered over all of the yellow
paint showing through on the front, back, and sides.
This is the bus parked
in the garage so that I could work on it and finish painting it.
Here is the trailer
hitch capable of pulling just about anything your can hook up to
this
thing. It is welded to the bus at five points and is made from very
heavy steal.
This is a look of
the trailer hitch from the bottom.
This is what the
air spout for the battery bank looks like on the outside of the bus.
Here I have the bottom
half painted blue and the top painted light grey. I also installed an
amplified television antenna and satellite dish on the roof.
This is a view of
the roof. In black is the roof vent, the white bar is the amplified
TV antenna, and a grey Dish Network post is also mounted up here.
Finally all of the
exterior has been painted. The headlight frames and mirrors were
sandblasted and painted black, and the door was painted light grey.
I also changed the outer flashing lights to red.

I replaced the old
bullet type clearance lights with new triangular type. You can
see how much smaller they are than the originals.
