Who's Up For A Challenge?

My thoughts, a challenge to see who can come up with the best idea on incorperating a awning built into the side of the bus, totally recessed & water tight, you can't knock others idea just show & explain your own plan

Wouldn't you need to cut through the roof bows to have it recessed?

Budget?

Time frame?

This should be good, as we have all recently learned not to cut the support ribs.

Re: Who's Up For A Challenge?

You could have a bunch of mini awning that fit in between the bows.

Re: Who's Up For A Challenge?

I'm thinking of picking up a used force field emitter from a retired Federation starship then recessing it into the side of the bus with a clear lens cover to keep out the weather. Configure the beam as a half dome to keep out rain, wind, bugs, nosy campers and marauding Romulans. I think that would work a treat.

I may pick up a used warp drive at the same time which would seriously cut down on our drive time.

Re: Who's Up For A Challenge?

I just thought of the one deal breaker on the force field idea; they don't block light so not very useful for shade. Duh.

I'm still looking for a used warp drive though.
