Redoing a short transit bus, sorry about the list of questions. The gas line will be black steel going from the rear forward then branched off with copper. I wanted to make a cable raceway under the cabinets that can be accessed for inspection. Can the pipe and the electrical be in the same raceway? There will be no electrical connections in the raceway. Does anyone make a copper manifold for LP? Is anyone using a non-vented lp heater? I've heard they don't work above 4500 ft. But I'm on a shoestring budget.
Thanks for your time, Dave
Our LP gas black pipe is under the bus on the outside except for about 3 ft that runs to our vent-free fireplace (our main heat source). We also have a little Tag-a-long LP heater (rated for interior use) plumbed permanently in the bathroom area. I often pop it on during the winter while I get dressed for work, then shut it off when I'm done. We are at 3499 Ft and previously 4660 ft. PM Das Mel and ask how her little LP heater worked for her last winter. She is at 4660 ft and bought a Mr Buddy heater (I think that is the brand... I believe she picked it up at the Semi-Super Wal-Mart). I know she likes it so much that it will end up plumbed into her bus just like we plumbed in ours.
