11R 22.5 Bridgestone Tires Like New

Hi
Selling SIX 11R 22.5 Bridgestone tires, below is pictures of them when I bought them new, they now have about 20k miles on them, no cuts, no bruises, no repairs, no leaks, no dry rot.

Still mounted on the rims that came with the 1987 Chevy C60 BlueBird bus, also have balancing powder in them they roll silky smooth, tested to 75 mpg by yours truly.

$1200.00 takes them, research these are over 300.00 new, want to drive the next 80-100k miles and never worry about tires these are what you need.

Come take a look kick the tires all you want I will add some actual pics later tonight or tomorrow, too HOT for me to be outside messing with these tires lmao.

Whole bus build is here. http://www.pilotodyssey.com/PO/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=1731

I will probably be selling the couch and dinette set in the near future if someone is doing a conversion looking for a deal on clean, non faded, no rips furniture, you can see pics of them in the build link they are blue.

Located in Northern Illinois.

Thanks!

EDIT!
Side note Starting Saturday afternoon I will be working 10 hrs a day for the next 30 days (6pm to 4:30 am) so completing this sale might get tricky.

It was a great project I loved it if it was a turbo diesel I would probably still have it, if the RV I bought does not work out I will probably find me another bus and convert it.

If your located in Andrews,Indiana and I did it right your about 217 miles away could meet you 1/2 way to exchange cash for tires and rims if that would help you any.

Re: 11R 22.5 Bridgestone Tires Like New

Just a little help on your tires......

The one thing you need to show is the DOT date code on the tire. This tells them when the tire was made. It is a 4 digit code. An example would be 2407 means it was made the 24th week of 2007.

Tread depths are measured in 32nds. This tire comes stock with 19/32. This is a very very very common tire used on busses. They are a all wheel position tire so you can swap them from front to rear with no issues.

Hope this helps. I just got out of the commercial tire busniess.

Good luck on the sale

Hi thanks for the info, not finding any 4 digit code on the tires everything is more than 4 and or is a combination of letters and numbers.

I bought the tires in may of 2007 they were new then if that helps.

19/32 = .593 so they have .036 or less than 1/32 wear.

How far can these be worn before they re-groove them?

They have to be there. They are only on one side so make sure you look on both of them. I will snap off a pic of the bridgestones on the front of my bus.

Look around on them cause it will say example : DOT (2407)

The tire is technically worn out at 3/32 but you can wear it all the way smooth. I have seen this first hand. I dont suggest it as you cant retread them if steel is showing? It turns in to a junk casing then.

One option you may think of to do is look at some truck stops and other places where they do service for commercial trucks. The 11r225 is becoming a little less common these days but there are plenty of people still running it. Not sure what size your running but maybe if they will trade for something you run currently.

Just a bit too far... and the date code should be in something like a rectangle....very small...but there.

If someone wants these tires I will take pictures of every marking on both sides of one tire then they can figure out the date code thing I see nothing that matched anything described so far, not sure why the date code matters?

if they are too old they will get pulled off the road. also certain age and they start to come apart. ex is the tires i just did on my bus. they were 12 years old. still looks good but not good for highway traveling.

Who is going to pull them off the road? Been driving well over a million miles I am the only one ever looked at my tires on anything I have owned?

This is the only thing I can find on the tires that resembles anything like the link you provided again no 4 digit codes to be found.

Their is a bar code sticker that you can almost still read that help ?
