'58 Crown conversion on Ebay

I am new to the bus world and am learning vastly from sites like this one. I am waffling between a school base, transit or even ex-Greyhound as the base for an RV conversion.

There is a '58 converted Crown that the seller may take to the recycler if it doesn't sell. He even offered to give the buyer months to pay the remainder after the deposit. It needs windshields and other work but it is only $3500. I felt someone here may be interested in this guys bus. I am not affiliated with the seller but love the old Crowns and see them as others see a '57 Chevy. The LAST auction closes in about a day from now.

I'm still surprised this one is for sale-maybe because it looks so bad on the outside? It was for sale when we bought our Crown in early sept. I hope someone picks it up, would be a shame to send to the scrap yard.

All it needs is paint.

Poor thing.

It is good that there was a last minute bid. Lets hope the new owner doesn't take her down the river and instead joins this group.
