We're honestly looking for a bus, RV or other option.

Re: Tour Support Vehicle

I guess the question is this:

Are you looking to buy a bus OR are you looking for a free handout?

We can help you if your looking to purchase a bus and help lead you in the right direction during a conversion

IF you are looking for a free handout it does not go over on this site because everyone here has busted their ass and back pocket to build and fund their Skoolie projects...free = .gov

I will leave this here for now

Every play nice or [spank][spank]

ETA site spelled wrong

Re: Tour Support Vehicle

I see you are in Canada, that would make the choices different on where you look, not sure but I think different provinces have different rules about used vehicles coming into CA. School bus dealers are a place to start. Don't know if you have Craigslist or something similar? You will get more pertinent answers if you let us know where you are located. There are Canadian members on this board who can, perhaps help more.

Hi, We've been looking throughout North America for the right vehicle for us. We plan to continue our tour through the States. I just thought I'd reach out since we looked at a Skoolie last week but it was a tad too small. Ideally something that has already gone through conversion or working with someone with the know how would be best as this would be a whole new learning curve for me.

Re: Tour Support Vehicle

cool,

what was wrong with the other one (except the creepy guy looking out the blinds)

Since your travels will be driving in alot of big mnts, keep the drivetrain high on the priority list

you do not want A545 tranny

you want a retarder or jake brakes

air brakes big priority (in my mind)

nice big clean radiator

I still must pay some taxes, but I strive to use every loophole possible and barter wherever I can do reduce that number. I've also never collected any form of public assistance even when I qualified for it and needed it.
