School Bus in NC goes over embankment

http://www.citizen-times.com/article...text|Frontpage

A Polk County Schools bus slid down an embankment off a Sunny View area road early Thursday morning, sending four student passengers to the hospital.

According to the Highway Patrol, the bus, which serves middle and high schools, went about 25-30 feet off a steep embankment on Burgess-King Laughter roads when trying to pass a stopped pickup truck.
The bus was traveling west when the female driver, who was not injured, went too far off the road to pass the truck that was traveling east on the road at 6:30 a.m., said Trooper C.J. Sama.
There are no charges relating to this accident at this time, Sama said.
The students complained of injuries to the legs, back and chest, Sama said, but he was not aware how significant the injuries. “They did not appear life-threatening,” he said, adding he knew that at least one student had been released from the hospital early Thursday afternoon.

The link above is dead as of the date of my post.

Don't try this in a stix-n-staples. I suspect my walls would have separated from each other and the chassis in a wreck like this.
