Willie Nelson's bus wreck

Willie Nelson's band bus (not Willie's bus) was in an accident overnight on icy I-30. 3 members of the family were hospitalized. Additional information will be released as we get it.

HOPKINS COUNTY - DPS troopers are investigating the cause of Willie Nelson's band bus crash in Hopkins County.

DPS Trooper Sylvia Jennings says around 3:30 Saturday morning, a bus carrying members of Willie Nelson's band crashed along I-30 in Hopkins County, 80 miles east of Dallas.(near Sulfer Springs ??)

The bus was travelling with 6 people on board when it hit a bridge pillar. Trooper Jennings says one person sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash.

Willie Nelson was not on board the bus.

DPS is investigating the cause of the accident.

I'm sorry to hear about that. Even though I don't listen to his music per se, I still think Willie is awesome!

Re: Willie Nelson's bus wreck

I have a buddy that for a while, was a tour bus driver for a band. He was somewheres that Willies crew were. He got to know the drivers of the busses while hanging out. The busses were both powered by biodiesel. Wherever they play, they have a tanker of bio-d show up to refuel them!
