The bus may run fine in warm weather depending on the type of engine (which makes a big difference - you should research this before buying a bus), but in the long run it may screw up the engine. So don't be deceived by short-term success. It takes a while for veg oil to screw up your engine, but it will if you are using it improperly. I am highly suspicious of magic fluids you mix with the oil and just run it like that. Most WVO/SVO experts will tell you to spend the time and money on a setup that heats the oil to at least 160F before it hits the injectors. Trying to thin SVO with chemicals rather than heat may introduce fluids into the engine that may cause harm in the long term. Before doing such a thing I would want to hear VERIFIED long-term success stories.
