Another addition to the stable.

My ex-sister in-law was kind enough to inform me that I have a sickness. Well, duh!!! What was the first clue?

Re: Another addition to the stable.

It's not really a sickness if it's something you NEED. What if it comes in handy later? What's that fine line between preparedness and hoarding?

Who has a 6.2 diesel? How many fuel filters are there and where are they located?

I'm the one that was ready to cry uncle. It was white knuckle from Salem, OR until Yreka, CA. I had to shift the bus at least three times until the weight distribution was just right. Each time it took over one hour to unchain and unstrap, shift the bus and chain up again.

As far as the trailer is concerned, it was doing OK. It was probably at capacity. It's rated at 10k and I know I wasn't over that. The tires are what I was worried about.

The trailer was well used when I bought it at a lien sale auction. It had been used for construction and you could tell after I bought it that it had been overloaded. I wasn't allowed to inspect before the auction. I have some things I need to do with it then it will be sold for at least what I have into it when I am done.

I would have been more concerned if that Excursion had enough brakes to stop it. The one I had was squirrely with a JD tractor that weighed less than that BlueBird
