750 Watt/1500 Watt Surge MSW Inverter

Just got back from Sam's Club. I just bought one of these (need two more). It's a "seasonal" item which means they won't have them for long. It's selling for $19.81 in the store (Albuquerque, NM). The cables are too short for our use. We will recycle the cables to connect the batteries to each other in our battery bank.

Item: 694308
Brand: VOT
Model: 7824
Just because you're on the road doesn't mean you have to leave the necessities behind. Vot® Inverters pull direct-current power directly from your vehicle's electrical system and convert it to AC current.

Features:
Dual AC Outlets
Heavy Duty Cables
USB Port
Overload and Overtemp Protect

Wow that's a great deal on that inverter!

I wouldn't use cable smaller than 4 gauge when you are connecting your batteries together. You want to keep your ground cable 3 feet or shorter if possible as well. The cables will not only get warm, but voltage will drop as well. Some people even put a 150+ amp fuse in between their power cables although it's not as important as the size of the wire. For type 8D batteries 2 gauge or 0 gauge is recommended.
