Oh, the 4905 is the better bus....er, coach.

It's just the 4104 is so cool in a retro-chic way. I'd keep it as a pet.

Re: I'm Baaaaaack.... ^.^ New bus in tow. XD

I'm a full timer myself. It will be four years this Aug. 29, we had a huricane down here in Miss. at that time I had a nice 1947 spartan all aluminium trailer. I found this trailer in the woods not far from my house after contacting the owner I was able to aquire the trailer for 150.00 bucks. Seven years latter it was a real looker and I was comfotable and happy with my old Spartan, it was a real eye catcher, lots of complamints. Then came the storm, I hooked up the trailer and hauled ass to Hamilton Ala. the wind was blowing in the state park we were in but it was'nt that bad. Well to make a long story the only tree to fall fell on my trailer, I was instantly shelterless. Well the place I had back in Miss. had a house on it but nobody had lived in it for thirty years, and the storm didnt really help it out much. And when I got back dealing with our disaster releif agents. You know F.fix E.everything M.my A.ss. I must have explained my story a hundred to times to a hundred differnt people who could'nt care less. In fact most of them found my story funny. It was really do'in a lot for my moral to have a room full over paid over educated goverment employes that had a comfortable dry bed and lots of food and water to laugh at you , and I'm there beggin for a tent and M.R.E.s Well my luck started to change when this collage student from Belguim working for F.E.M.A. over heard the laughter from down the hall. I told him my story and he got me a F.E.M.A. trailer to put on my property and live in th past four years. In the past four years Iv'e been work'n on my house and put'n together another skoolie. Its been tuff my insurance company went toes up and I didn't qualify for any grants . Wrong race wrong sex. But that's not gonna stop me .Next storm I'm pick'n up my sewer line and rollin up my cord and water hose and haul'in ass. But I'm really glad for you Mac that is a good look'in coach. And listen to me when I tell you, when the wind starts blowin get away from the trees and hold her bow in the wind. God bless. Russell

Yes, I'm rebuilding the bus... It's going to take a lot of time and money to do it though... I just hope that I can get enough from the homeowner's insurance to get her back on the road at this point. Once that happens (which will probably be late this year, early next year), I'm out of here. My parents will be situated by then.

Hopefully my telecomm business will be up and running by then too. Lots of work to do. Sigh.

But yeah... She was a beauty before the fire. She'll be better once I get her rebuilt.

Mac, Wait... maybe I misread this thread... I thought you are selling the burned bus (for the engine & tranny) to buy a new 40 footer?? Thats what I was referring to! Am I losing it or did I not see photos of the new beauty?
I am familiar with the misfortune that happened at your house.

I'm in the process of rebuilding the 4905 at this point, but the progress is slow (no money, too hot for me to work on it even if I had all the parts)...

So, it's a waiting game right now.

-Mac
Oh crap... I am confused... but I think I got it now!
