Thanks for the replies everyone. Heat is not going to be much of an issue as the fuel lines on the original tank are nylon type as well and held up just fine for 18 years. I'm remote locating a fuel water separator in the compartment just below the drivers window where there used to be flasher wiring and such (been removed). The bends will be large radius, out of the sunlight and away from any extreme heat. Using something like PEX over standard rubber fuel hose will allow me to go with a larger I.D. and less fuel restrictions in the lines themselves. I always oversized fuel lines in the boats I built for customers in the past and it has always been a good idea.
