Overcharing Batteries
I have 1989 Thomas bus with rear engine Cat 3208. It is overcharging the batteries. I think it is a regulator. Can anyone help me locate it?

Re: Overcharing Batteries
Why do you think it's over charging?
Being that new,I would think the regulator is built into the altenator

Re: Overcharing Batteries
Ummm yes its over charging. Anything over 14.5 will not be good. I would assume it built in to the alternator unless its externally regulated but for that year I dont think it will be. Take it off and have it tested.
