Hello Skoolies! I just won my new bus!!

I've been watching govdeals for ages, and skulking around here as well.

I just won a 2000 Thomas with a Cat 3126b.

I'm told there's another two buses coming right up on Auctions International. One with a 78" ceiling and one with a 72".

If not for the high ceiling I never would have bought a bus that's all the way up in NY when I'm down here in South Florida, rustless land of flat hills.

But hey, the bus might even work!

Here's the link to the auction page: https://www.govdeals.com/index.cfm?fa=M ... cctid=6286

I just wanted to say hi and howdy, and you may see me around over the next week or two while I try to successfully claim my big white (yellow) whale. Albany, NY hoooooooooo!!!

That's one of the better-funded school systems in the Capital District. Although I have never worked on their buses, the bus should be in good shape. Good Luck, and Welcome!

Thank you Redbear, you just made my day!

What a load off my mind. I'm of course prepared to have work done on it, but whew.
