Good App for Ipad

Does anyone know a good app for the Ipad for drawing out floorplans, would like one that does not require getting a college degree to work with

Re: Good App for Ipad

I just used an architect's scale (1/4" = 1 ft) and a blank sheet of paper. I tried the sketchup but I can draft a floor plan faster by hand. I used to be a Kitchen & Bath Designer and did all my floor plans & elevations by hand too. I think I have hit my "technology ceiling". Too many of the technologically advanced methods are harder for me to learn. OMG, I'm an "Old Fart"!

Might want to try a pencil and paper......
Then just measure the floor space on your bus and lay it out with masking tape. Cut to fit....

Holy crap, I can actually help for once!

I was looking into the same thing for my Android tablet (before it decided to say HI! to the floor and broke the screen). What I wanted to use was a simple program called PAPER but, sadly, it's only available for Apple products (and FREE).

For our purposes, I used Floorplanner.com. It was free and intuitive enough for a novice to figure out

It's been many years since this thread started, but it's a valid question and came up first on the search, so I figured I'd add.

+1 for MagicPlan. I used it to map out the inside of my bus conversion. That only counts as one plan, so it's basically a $2.99 app and for that, totally worth it.
I'm able to export the resulting floor plan in a variety of formats (images, pdf, svg, obj).
What I'm working with now is I built the floor plan with MagicPlan and exported it as a JPG which I can use as a template in the desktop app Sweet Home 3D (which is free, but you can buy furniture packs - [url=http://www.sweethome3d.com/]Sweet Home 3D). So far, works really well.

Here's a pic of the 3d model it spit out of my short shuttle bus with the accordion door, rear doors, and even the side windows in the right places (yes, it captured elevation. Though I just blocked out the dashboard rather than make it really accurate).
