If you are still looking for foam....

When I was looking I just google searched "Foam Sale, Houston Texas" to find a local place that sells foam for furniture. If you find a place like that ask them about mis prints. They might call it something else but basically when they switch the ink in the machine and start making different colored foam, pieces will come out with blotches of ink on them.

I purchased 4" blocks of foam for 50% the oringinal price because they had large blotches of ink on them. I didn't care since I was covering them up with a thick material.

Your paint looks excellent! What techniques did you use? Im making a Redskins tailgater right now and would love some tips from our heated rivals!

Sorry but I bought the bus with the paint already done. It looks better in pictures then up close. I bought it from a guy who owns a body shop. Looks like he just scuffed up the yellow, taped it and sprayed it. The paint job is two years old and rustr is starting to bubble under the paint in spots. If you can find the color you want in a heavy equipment paint I would use that. Hope this helps. Think McNabb will be back after this year?

Thanks for the post back man! About McNabb, I dont know. He has been really horrible this year. We will see how much Shanahan's ego gets in the way these last 3 games. Speaking of which you guys need to lock up Vick. Hes amazing but really injury prone but you guys are set with Kolb as the backup. Must be nice to be an Eagles fans (with the exception that you have no Lombardi trophies ;) )

But we do have a NFL championship beating the coach that the Super Bowl trophy is named after. Get that bus done by the playoffs, come on up and I'll save you spot next to me in our parking lot.:D

So I go out to start the bus for the 4th of July parade and I can't get it to start. First it seemed like a dead battery. They were at 75%, so I charged them up. Still not starting. No dash lights no nothing. put the key back to accessory and the lights come on and the radio comes on. turn back to start, the dash lights come on then nothing and everything go dark. Electric door won't work. I think maybe I have a bad ground somewhere. Will take a longer look at it this weekend. Any hints are welcome.

Put a new starter in last weekend. I thought it may be a solenoid, so I took it apart and went to the parts store. Solenoid by itself was $219, but a rebuilt starter with a solenoid was only $208. No brainer right?

Besides some water leaks everything is good with the bus. Two times I have not been able to get it started in 3 years, it has been in front of my house. Gotta love that! I would recommend the grill to anyone. It works great and it's a snap to pack up.
