Re: Adult bunk size

I would go with standard sizes. For example, we use a stand sized Full bed (54 X 75). this allows me to use standard sized sheets, covers, mattress with out having to have anything made special (AKA "Pricey"). The only "special" thing we use is a sleeping bag as a comforter and I slide a duvet cover over that (our standard twin sized duvet cover is too long for our standard adult sized sleeping bag). Sleeping bags make great comforters since they are better at holding in heat than the pouffy comforters sold in the stores. the duvet cover means that I can just wash the cover rather than the whole sleeping bag if a furkid climbs in bed with muddy feet (I no longer have furkids).

Various manufacturers may vary the dimensions slightly but not more than 1". These are the general dimensions:
* Mattress Sizes
Twin--39 x 75 inches (or 99 x 190 cm)
X-Long Twin--39 x 80 inches (99 x 203 cm)
Full--54 x 75 inches (137 x 190 cm)
Queen--60 x 80 inches (or 153 x 203 cm)
King--76 x 80 inches (or 198 x 203 cm)
California King--72 x 84 inches (or 182 x 213 cm)

* Fitted Sheet Sizes (use also for mattress pad sizing)

Queen--60 x 80 inches (or 153 x 203 cm)
King--76 x 80 inches (or 198 x 203 cm)

Re: Adult bunk size

Our homemade ones in the house are 33x76 and we'll be sticking with that for the bunks in the skoolie.
