Best way to remove windows?

I know you all have done it... but i'm struggling with the window and also finding a post that describes the best way to get those buggers out. I just need to take one out to put in a blank for an exhaust.

2003 International 3800, here is what they look like...

(yes, I've taken the screws out and tried prying, but it feels like they are really in there)

So any hints or good posts would be super helpful. Thanks in advance.

They are usually just the screws and a lot of sealer. Top usually tilts in.

The butyl the bus manufacturers use is wicked sticky stuff. They come out best when it is warm. In the winter (or for any other time) you may want to get a heat gun and heat them up. The fun part is getting all the old butyl off.

Remove the big screws. Warm up butyl. Open the window completely. Get a firm grip and do a constant pull, no jerking. Good luck and don't have anything behind you that will hurt you when you fall down.

sounds pleasant... its been like -1M deg here all winter... sweet... I'll give it a shot tonight...
