Chasing wiring.....
When I am looking for wires and must connect power to locate a circuit, wires or a load, I use a backup alarm. The noise is tolerable and keeps buzzing until the challenge is found. I also connect a HD flasher to a power wire, and connect to a load to find an electrical device remote from the drivers seat..
Both of these test aids are used, in series, with a manual reset circuit breaker...
