the wall will not be going all the way to the ceiling. I know it is tight, but real-estate is at a premium. just sit on the bed and pull up the corners to put the fitted sheet on. I am not a full timer so this will be done in frequently.

This is the same plan I finally came up with.
I'll have a full size bed because I need a garage area in the back.
The reason for the "L" shape kitchen is because my stove will be in front of the emergency side door so I can easily exchange out the propane tank.

My theory is (usually) it's already broken so taking it apart isn't going to hurt it any. But then I'm also good at figuring stuff like that out. Washers, dryers, and even AC systems are fairly simple in design. Washers and dryers are usually an interlock switch or belt. AC is usually the starting capacitor. Stupid simple and cheap. I'm always amazed at what people will pay for stuff like that or car brakes. Parts are $50 in most cases.

Um, why? Put the propane under the bus in its own little locker. You could get fancy and put in a 100lb tank.
My factory under storage would need some crash barrier reinforcement but would fit a 100lb. Oops, that says vertical. Someone somewhere must also make it in a horizontal tho. That was just the first google hit on 60lb dimensions.

The most likely thing was a thermal fuse which was about $10. Sadly, that wasn't the case THIS time, but it was easy to test and change out after learning how to detach that kind of fuse on the bus. So finally I got a money SAVING bonus from the bus after spending ridiculous sums of money and time on it for very little visible progress so far.

Mine "died" because the door interlock wasn't making contact. The ex bought a new one because she got tired of waiting for me to come look at it. I relocated the switch using the same switch. Now that I have the house again, I have two gas dryers if you're interested in buying one!
Anywho, I have all of my rivets out, my new ribs welded to new supports, and I"m about ready to cut the roof off. I know full well about the zero visible progress thing.

Bus Piano!
Les Lampman. It is cool you are putting a piano in your bus because I also plan to buy an electric piano for my bus. What kind of piano do you have for it?

There a full-sized version of this here.

Posted this in my own conversion thread, but here's ours. Some proportions are off, ie our bed is a king, but the app only had a queen bed and other limited options. The back door will be our main living entrance. The toilet is going to be a natures head, over the wheel well. The tub will be shorter, giving room for a small linen closet over the other wheel well. Rear closet will take up the entire space above the engine. Cats added to annoy my husband. We have one cat and one dog :P

Worst app ever. They can't even draw a decent cat.

Our floor plan 40" Thomas
So this is what we've come up with so far. 3 Kids, so two bunks, one over a dresser of storage, etc. The front third of the bus is still up in the air, kinda depends on how much space is left. We don't have our bus back from the initial exam at the mechanic, so when we get in there to tape everything off, we'll adjust the front. Basically, with 3 kids we need separate areas to hang, and want our bed far away from their beds.

It looks like your kitchen is next to your bedroom which has zero room besides the bed. Does this mean you are going to get dressed in the kitchen?

I see your measurements show an 8' width, is yours actually 8' or 7.5' like most of them. That 6" adds up pretty quick on a floor plan

There is a dresser planned for under one of the bunks. We are all perfectly fine walking around in pj's in our home now, so grabbing clothes from the dresser and going to the shower or toilet to change would be just fine with us. I may put some shelves and basket in the bedroom on one of the walls for things like sweatshirts and socks/slippers.

The '04 we are looking at I was told was 8' but I don't know for sure till we get back to MI. Right now it's build a plan cause in 1-2 months we need to buy to start our build.

Plan on 7 1/2' then. Someone lied to you. I don't believe there are any that are 8 feet wide on the exterior. Maybe the coach buses but I'm not sure even those are 8' interior.

My class A RV is 8'6" out, 8'0" inside. Wide Bodies are the exception, not the rule. Bet on 7'6"
