DC wiring question

Have already wired the AC side and am ready to begin wiring the DC side. Have a roll of 14ga. speaker wire. Is this ok to use for the lights and small draw stuff?

Re: DC wiring question

#14 AWG copper, depending on what kind of insulation and where it goes can be relied on to carry 15 amps safely. As long as the voltage rating of the wire is rated for the highest voltage you are going to expose it to. (in this case I would bet that you are good to go.)

Re: DC wiring question

I forgot to advise you to be sure and install some kind of overcurrent protection device that does not exceed 15 amps at the source."Fire bad"
