Exterior Appearance

Hello everyone!

I was wondering how many of you have converted the exterior of your bus to look more like an RV. As in paint theme, windows, door, and exterior siding. Pictures would be greatly appreciated.

We will be purchasing a bus within the next 6 months and are planning to do a roof raise. I would like to keep any windows that aren't being blocked from the inside design. Our goal is to do the exterior as much like an RV/Motorhome as possible for campground purposes. I know they consider more than just exterior appearance in certain places but I would like to hear from anyone who has had this same idea.

Thanks!

While I wouldn't want the graphics and the sea of plastic and chrome, I'd like mine to pass as RV too.
Right now its still very much a "school bus".

So I am not sure if this picture will show up in my post. I have no idea how to attach a picture on this site. But this is the idea I have in mind. I am right there with you on not wanting plastic and chrome. I like that they still used the original bus windows.

I don't think mine looks like an RV...

I don't know why but this is the first I've seen your bus exterior Lorna. I think your bus looks really nice. I actually love the Tiffany blue color. We had been planning on doing ours in dark brown with the blue/green for the roof and trim.

Before and after, hopefully it don't look like a stick and staple "Nike" bus.

I think pretty much all of us have nice looking buses. But I do think most all of them LOOK like a bus.

I like how that paint job looks.

Great job.
