EastCoastCB makes some fantastic kangaroo chili too. =] I've seen the inside of his bus in person. If anyone knows how to remove rivets, it's this guy.

Though I would chime in, since I went through this a few weeks ago.
I found that a 3 pound hammer and a long flat bat work great. I did it all alone, and was work, but did not kill me.
1. hammer 90 degree angle part of flat bar in between any two rivets. (get it in there real good)
2. steady your feet, and push the flat bar towards either side of the bus (window side) one or both rivets will pop.
3. move over two rivets, so that your flat bar is always being wedged between two well fastened rivets.
should cut your time way down...
PS: when you get to your last rivet, have a friend hold the sheet, it's likely going to fall hard, and if you are alone, you will likely crack a window or your face. I cracked a window..

Soooo I took tools and a compressor over there Saturday. Sheila is SUCH A NICE PERSON!
I got there and all was well, was looking at her incredible, beautiful bus and when the first few rivets came off I got one of my classic headaches. The kind where I had to lay down and cover my eyes for an hour or so. Sheila was so nice and went and got me some aspirin from Walgreens.
Left her the compressor and the air chisel with various bits.
I ended up having a headache for three straight days.
Just figured I'd update anyone curious.
Her Bluebird is in pretty much NEW condition!

Thank you so much for the kind words. It was so nice of you to come over and then to leave your tools was beyond nice. I plan on working on it early Saturday morning and hope to get it all done before the end if the day. So we will see how it goes😀
