Two-part spray on bed liner has been used for years to seal RV roofs. It is not cheap but it is by far the most durable method in existence. After applying the liner, you go back over it with a few coats of a white heat barrier paint. You might have to re-do the paint from time to time, but the liner is much tougher than needed for that application and will be there forever!
Don't know much about the roll on liner material, other than the fact(s) that (as with any single component material) it is much weaker and considerably less durable - enough so that I wouldn't use it.
