That's really awesome. The theme may be hilarious, especially to a FEDEX employee, but some serious effort that went into the design and construction of all that. Not to mention some serious FEDEX supplies!

My dad had this book from back in the early '70s, a hippy book kind of, called "Nomadic Furniture". It had lots of plans for ad hoc furniture, including cardboard furniture. I always wanted to build some....but the Wal-Mart imitation oriental rugs were much easier!

We purchased 5 matching vinyl couches for $1000 delivered (total) from Nebraska Furniture Mart in Kansas City. They match, they're comfy, and they look pretty damn good.

The seats are out (except for two facing each other) and replaced with matching couches.

That is great! The site is down now but i found a good article about it here,,1284,68492,00.html

I actually did that at my office before my boss ordered my desk when I got hired. Only my office furniture was made out of Dell Server and Laptop boxes. It worked pretty well for the first week and a half of my new job.

Plotting the next project now. Looking for a clean diesel pusher with low rust/miles. Identical plans with plumming and biodiesel added :)

Great way to recycle. Though my fat a$$ would just collapse it on itself. lol
