Aluminum tape worked for my first bus. Easy to install and cheap.

i sprayed rust reformer liberally into the holes to prevent and rusting to spread, then i used black rtv silicone and aluminum tape. i squirted a bunch of silicone through the hole, then used a putty knife to scrape the hole level, and apply aluminum tape over it then.

cheap and effective way would be using the black windshield rubber calk from the automotive refinishing store that goes in your calking gun. once it is in, it won't come out.

We're using rustoleum then 3/16 x 1/8" aluminum pop rivets. Finally, we'll cover the entire surface to the top of the chair rails with a couple coats of elastomeric roof paint (water/bug tight).

Hole fillers

Did any of yalls ideas on filling your holes work? Did it prevent the rust from spreading from the bottom of the bus? Considering the aluminum tape and aluminum rivots..just wasn't sure what the results were. Thanks!

No aluminum.

Read some build threads. All the info has been covered over and over and over and over again.
