I need a toilet, where to go?

Are the $110 Thetford toilets ok? I dont actually use my bus much so the use would be a few months a year if I have a guest.

Are the $200 Brabura that much better? I have $400 to spend on my bus this YEAR plus a little extra. The idea of a tiny home is always an option and you never know.. I dont plan on going homeless so a toilet that holds up is ok.

Lets say the world falls apart I could live in my bus and have this>

I dont have kids and the bus is used a few times a year for guest camping in my back yard.

Should I go cheap on the toilet? I have the tanks already. :trash :

Go for a porcelain one. I don't know where you are located, southern Michigan, northern Indiana has a lot of RV surplus places they can be picked up fairly cheaply.

I have Dometic 210 porcelain, works good, I would only get porcelain much nicer, and doesn't look cheap

Why not just use the toilet you just bought

Maybe what you need is a standard shower pan and a 4" hole saw..?

We were able to pick up a new JABSCO marine toilet for a $100 bucks on Craigslist from a guy who bought it for his boat & then changed his mind. I like the fact that it is manual and can use wet or dry.

We used a bucket for our last outing. We were in the bus for 2.5 days with it and no a.c. 95+deg outside. No smell. We used oak sawdust in the bottom of a plastic bag and pete sphagnum moss between layers of u-no-what. No smell.
it was a Firehouse Subs bucket - $2.
