Looking for air brake tutoritals/videos/guides/etc

Hey guys. Picking up our Internat'l Amtran 13-row flat nosed bundle of joy in just over a week. I've found good info about adjusting air brakes, but not a lot of info about how to actually use them. Does anyone have some good resources to read up on so we can be ready for our Big Ride Home? Thanks!

Only advise I can give is this:
You are not "pushing" fluid with your foot,you are only opening an airvalve....so easy on the peddle,first stop will probably throw everyone into seat in frnt of them

I was lucky and the school parking lot was next door. Remember there is a slight delay from when you press the pedal and the breaks start to slow down the bus. My first few where a little jarring until I got use to that. When they engage they will bring you to a stop

Swing by your local DMV aand ask for a cdl study guide,it has almost all the info you need to understand the basics

This is just my opinion -

The functionality of air brakes are different then hydraulic brakes but not that much different in feel. In my opinion there is not much of a learning curve to get the feel for air brakes if they are adjusted right. Just drive it around the parking lot a little and get a feel for them and you will be fine.

You will find the learning curve to be pretty easy, I'm a blonde and if I can do it, anyone can do it.
