If you have not already installed the 3" Uniseal yet I will offer a couple of suggestions. I have installed a bunch of these and found a couple of things on the larger ones that help.

1- Use a low viscosity lube in the pipe & seal prior to assembly. I tried a number of "on hand" lubes. In my case they had to be suitable for potable water. I tried dish soap, laundry detergent, vegetable oil and finally Windex. The Windex worked best for me. Whoodathunkit?

2- Radius or bevel the ends that will be installed into the Uniseal. I happened to have a router table so I used a 1/4 round bit in the router and radiused the outside edge of the pipe.

3 - Eat your Wheaties.... The 1/2 & 3/4 seals are pretty easy to put together. 2-3 inch seals are a different story.....

Let us know how it comes out?
