Newbie :) - Where can I park the bus while getting it converted

Hi All,
I didn't know how to search for this so I hope it's not on here a 100 times. I am getting a bus to convert to a skoolie but I am looking for the cheapest place to park it while I am converting it. I can park it at my sister's but its 2 hours away so I am just looking for options I can afford. Thanks in advance for the help and suggestions.
Wes

other than the usual suggestions like storage yards, boat yards, etc there isnt' any real answer. We all seem to have to figure that one out on our own. Its the million dollar bus question, and one folks should really think hard on before buying a bus.
I lost my first bus in an expensive legal battle due to thinking I could just go and get a bus and have it. I actually thought I lived in a free country when I was young! lol
Hit up friends who have property, look into buying some cheap land or a cheap lot somewhere tolerant.
Try to find two or three places you could definitely store it. I've had to move mine a few times. Being at someones mercy sucks. I'm buying a lot in out in the boonies so I can have buses and burn stuff!

ha! like a friend of a friend, pretty top dog at a blacktop company.. got tired of getting busted by cops for squealing the tires... inherited the family farm... layed a strip of blacktop 1/2 mile long on his property as a "farm lane"... cops cant touch him, he can burn anything he wants in those cars since they never hit the street...

having busses and birning stuff is fun!! just keep the fire away from the busses... that doesnt end so well...

I rented a small lot. I also asked the Universe for help and guidance.

I too dream of buying some land and opening it to skoolies to park and hang out.
Maybe have a large garage and a decent community solar array for people to run stuff off.

I was in a similar situation. I live in an HOA and was parking the bus at a local home depot. All major work was going to be done at my parents house 2 hours away.
