Instead of burning through a bunch of cut off discs with my angle grinder, here’s what I did. Worked great.

I removed all the screws along the bottom & sides. I scored the top (about 1 inch below the window). Scored it with the angle grinder but I did NOT cut all the way through. Just like when you score drywall and bend and break it. Once I had the galvanized steel scored, I bent it up and down and after a couple of times up and down, the entire piece just snapped off.

Didn’t even burn through a entire disc and it definitely took less time and energy.
