The panels your talking about are called FRP.
I used the stuff in the bathroom of my "Cabin build for the old timer" build.

I will also be using the stuff in my bus. I trim it out with oak trim. The oak trim takes away the commercial look and feel VS using the FRP trim.
I will also be using wood look vinyl plank on my walls.
Laminate should not be installed anywhere in a bus. Vinyl plank is the best product in a wet bus environment.
