I've seen lots of IHC's with the 345's swapped out for chevy. Usually by the 4x4 crowd though.
I love the old 345's. Tough as nails.

I went and drove the bus last night. Everything seemed to check out; no leaks, transmission shifted fine, brakes worked very well, etc. The gasser didn't have any extra power to throw around but it will get the job done for what I want out of it. Getting the title switched today after work.

I did find some vinyl click together plank flooring for $0.99/sq ft. I figured that I will have around $0.81/sq ft for the laminate after I get underlayment. So, for less than $50 more I can have a lot more peace of mind about my floor. I decided that it was worth it and purchased the vinyl. Thanks for the feedback!

Glad to here you made the better choice on the flooring.

Looking forward to pics.
