Original door replaced with my own design (still under construction). I am trying to re-purpose materials where possible.

At the rate you're moving I'd guess this isn't your first bus. Good find. Good pics too.

I had a one year delay, but most of the work pictured here has been the past few months. It's my first bus but won't be my last. I am loving this. After reading the site I really decided to do it right as it will be my primary home.

Next I de-rust and treat the floor, re-wire, and do the window modifications. After that I can insulate it and start building out the interior.

Can't wait to spend my first night in it.

Then you must have read these threads and taken them seriously. It still looks like you're moving right along, and April isn't that far away.

It was supposed to be April of last year. Ah well... life intervened.

Just like a broken clock is right twice a day, you're back on the calendar. Funny how life gets in the way.

I didn't want to have to crank up the engine to heat the interior so the old system had to go. I'll engineer an efficient way to handle defrosting.
