1988 Gillig Phantom

What’s up everyone! My name is Mike and I am in the process of converting a 1988 Gillig Phantom. The goal is a full bus conversion with roof raise, bunk beds, solar, incinerator toilet, and I’m sure more will be added later. My family and I are looking forward to dramatically downsizing, traveling the country using National Parks as stepping stones, and living adventurously. You can follow the conversion on IG @beacon.bus

The Gilligs and Crowns I see always look the they came out of video games (in my opinion). Something about them I guess. They do look great though!

I'm still in the shopping phase and I'm leaning towards a Gillig myself. I believe yours is the first school bus Gillig I've seen. I tried the link but no luck in following.
