4/0 wires: cut, crimped, and heat shrink. Good grief their thick.
Installing a battery shutoff next. Have to head to Grainger tomorrow to pick up some more wire and 4/0 lugs.
My son decided to chase rolly pollies around with pliers under the bus this morning...
Grounding questions:
Is it okay to run the grounds from the solar and inverter to the negative busbar and ground that to the frame?
Or
Should I buy another busbar, run the grounds to that and then attach that to the negative busbar?
Or
Do they all need to be individually geiunded to the frame?

Shore Power is up and running. I've been charging my batteries and running tools off the inverter. The 3000 watt aims can't handle the start up from the 15000 rooftop dometic. I've been plugging that into the house. Solar will be up and running this week. Lots of progress inside. I'll post pics tomorrow.

What are you doing with your solar power that you need a "victim monitor" ?
Solar electric chair?
Or maybe you have been the victim of auto-correct
Perhaps it's a Victron monitor?

Sorry if I missed it previously. What size television is that? I want to do something similar and would like a larger tv ( 65"ish) I've considered projector and screen as well which might be easier.

Just did some research on safe viewing distances for TV's. Seems from 8' a 42" is the largest acceptable size. Granted we area only 7.5' wide, but I think bigger won't be any better. Also the pixel count is important depending on viewing distance. If moving closer you want to shy away from a 1080p to something in 4k range. Unless you're viewing down the aisle 65" might be a tad big.

viewing distances are a lot a Farse.. for the longest time I ran a 3200 Lumen DLP projecter in my living room at 1920 x 1080 and a diagonal screen size of 105". it was fantastic.. only issue was it wasnt bright enough to have the shades open in broad daylight.. when I replaced all my windows with larger ones in the house. and blinds that didnt block all the light then it was dim so I went to a 55" LCD 1080P TV in that room and sitting 10 feet away it seems too small.. and i'l likely upgrade to at least 65 soon.. I thinkl in a long skinny room like a buss bigger is better when it comes to TV.. although in a bus i might be much more inclined to have a pull down screen from the ceiling and use a projector since it folds away nicely when you dont need it..
then again that is one awesome GPS / Traffic / Weather / Multimedia music, etc screen right above the windshield for driving!!

I'm sitting 7 feet away from a 65" "monitor" and when our beloved Glasgow Celtic play I'm always wishing for a bigger screen!

Yeah, at 65" 4k now, but, had 720p 120' projection screen at 12' distance with no issue. To each their own. Mostly curious on the mounting strategy used.
