The people that put it on are the capitalists. They get to charge you for staying on BLM land in he middle of the desert.

Re: 1997 AmTran International DT466

I had my first encounter with parking enforcement today. I was coming down the hill when I saw her parked behind my motorhome. I walked up to her and had a chat. She said there have been complaints. I told her that people don't appreciate beauty. She rolled her eyes. I told her I would be moving it. She said at least 1/10th of a mile. No problemo. That was it. Now I know where I will be parking on a regular basis. The 30 foot length is less than the city length restriction.

The length of your bus is also good for getting into a lot of the Golden State campgrounds, if any are still opened.

That's why I got this one. I have longer and they are a pain to drive. The one turns on a dime. I also remember many length restrictions at some state parks. I never knew that about the parks and was bummed. I fixed it by buying a shorter bus and now I'm happy.

Don't like smokin' weed. Maybe I'll just have a cold one instead.

Re: 1997 AmTran International DT466

So it turns out that I need the king pins replaced. Betts is running a special for $850 plus tax for stainless steel king pins. I'm not sure if the bushings are stainless also. They are supposed to last a couple times longer. Does this sound like a fair price? Remember that I'm in California.
