1999 Blue Bird 48 passenger

Me and 2 friends just bought our first bus. It's a 1999 GMC Blue Bird 48 passenger with a 3126 Cat and an AT-545 Allison. I know neither are real desirable but it runs and shifts great and we only paid 1,200 for it. Our project is a little different than a lot of yours. We do competition BBQ around the state of Minnesota and were looking for something to load our equipment up in the back, have a prep area with some tables and some bunks for overnight competitions. We picked it up last week and as of last night we got it painted so it is now legal to drive down the highway. We were fortunate in that a family friend who was retiring from the auto body business and gave us enough automotive grade paint to cover the entire thing.

We've done fairly well our first year competing with a 3rd place and 5th place and a 4th place out of 20-25 teams so far

Thanks everyone. We've got a few more details to tackle on the outside and then start removing the seats.
