Good Jump !
I like your flooring- vinyl plank? I think I will go that route.
I can't figure-out your floorplan- will be interested in seeing the build.

How waterproof do you think that flooring is? I really like the look of it and am considering going that route, but would like something that will keep water from permeating down into the plywood of the floor.

Its laminate so 100%. Its not a composite. We have a higher quality version in our house and its amazing. If you have the $ i would go with the allure traffic master, it has an adhesive overlap that i suspect will hold up longer than what we layed down

I like your simple and open design. What is your plan for windows?

What kind of shutters are you thinking of. My mind is bouncing over all sorts of ideas for shuttering windows. I have not found a feasible way to do removable shutters that I like personally. They all end up being a burden when I try out any ideas.

I was going to bolt horizontal pieces across the top and bottom of the window externally and then mount shutters to open toward the roof.

Cool. I figured you would had done sheet metal and taken out the windows behind your toilet and shower. If you would, document how you do your shutter install for me. I can't wait to see how your build turn out.
Sincerely,
Charlie.

For the bathroom we used frosted glass spraypaint and extended it into the kitchen to cover the cabinets

Thanks! We are planning on roadtripping out to The tetons in aug for a couple of months so our build schedule is pretty tight. We are fortunate to have jobs that allow a lot of full days off, so hopefully it will get done. Still so much to do.
