Your fab skills are off the hook. Looks like a Motorcoach frame. Wonderful space.

Where is it on the scales now? What is your manufacturer max GVWR?

How bad is it in a crosswind? Can you feel semis move you?

Thanks for sharing the videos.

I'm using 16 gauge and steel. Also only doing a 15" raise which gives me a span of about 42"-43" if including the ~ 1 1/2" overlap top and bottom.

My roof line is only going up 15" from where it sits now but I'm removing the 24" that are the OEM windows. That's 39". To that, I've have (hopefully) and 1 1/2" overlap under the eyebrows at the top and about 2 - 2 1/2" overlap under the rub rail. That means the sheet metal needs to be cut down from 48" to ~43". I've not cut any of it until I get the first piece up just to see how much I can force on the overlaps. The more the better in my opinion. At a minimum I need enough to drill holes and re-rivet.

Gotcha. 2-2-1/2" overlap is aggressive

No way in hell I'll get that at the top without removing both rows of rivets. The rub rail however is 5+ (???) inches wide. I don't remember what it measures but it's a fair bit more than 4". I think the rivets for the rub rails are close to 4" on center. So, getting it to tuck under the rub rail by 2 1/2" would be easy peezy. Removing them entirely and putting them back wouldn't be too big of a PITA. That upper row of rivets tho. That would be a huge PITA.

So i guess its been about 3 years sense i have been on here..... still not finished but we have been living in it full time for several years. I started up a company so that, being a dad, and taking care of the farm have kept me pretty busy. Oh and I drove for the local school district for a year or 2....till covid kicked off

That looks awesome, I've been thinking about a bit of climbing-wall stuff for my bus, but on the outside.
