made a wall out of a door. this was a pain. my template for the curve wasnt right so i ended trimming little bits off at a time with wire cutters until it fit, and it still isn't right at the top. i may use this door as a template for a piece of plywood in the future.

thanks, the lights are hotel room lights i paid $7.50 each for them at the habitat for humanity re -store. i always check there to see what shows up.

Our restore has a lot of pressboard and metal furniture and old doors. I bought a sink there but now I'm thinking I don't even like that. Haven't really found much I like there other than small things like door handles. Need to make some trips to the big city I think.

I was thinking after seeing yours that I want to build the existing coach lights that work into the underside of my upper cabinets so I'll have some running lights left. Took off a v-shaped panel across the top of the windows and gained about 3" and there is only one wire running behind it. Conduit that into the back side of my cabinets and it will be out of the way and functional.

You can use self adhesive foam rubber strips(one inch wide) to trim out the top of that wall where it meets the ceiling.

thanks Accordion, i was going to check into that flexible molding, but the foam rubber sounds less expensive

not too much done this weekend. i moved the counter down and aligned it to the new wall, and cleaned the hell out of the sofa. this also puts the stove directly into one former window frame for attachment of the range hood.

i have been busy at work, so i havent had as much time with the bus as i would like. i did pick up a window AC that will fit into the space above the windows in the back once i cut a hole. i have been modifying extension cords to run to my wall outlets and i have started my first hole in the steel for my first outlet that will be for the TV. i have also started taking apart my progressive dynamics converter to rewire it with 30 and 20 amp Computer power cords.
