sorry Trunt, you are right i didn't say much. i picked up the toilet for $75 and the Water heater for $225 at a place called West Coast RV Recycling & Sales in Centralia WA. the toilet is a Thetford Aqua magic III, and the water heater is a Suburban 6 gallon propane and 110V AC unit. they test all the stuff, they hooked up the water heater and showed me that it functions too. they have a lot of used parts there so i will be heading back there. I haven't installed them or anything yet, i was just happy to have found them.

Re: 87 Wayne Lifeguard international S1700 CXXVI

i double checked my propane fittings using soapy water and noticed some small leaks both attached to the stove and under the bus. i cleaned and tightened everything up and the leaks are gone. i also took a jigsaw and cot out the front wood for the cabinet over the stove. the cabinet needs to get done first so i can attach the range hood to it. hopefully now that i have the first one done i can finish up the rest using it as a reference. its rough but i can make it better later. i also need to make a door.

I threw a water heater like that in a dumpster about 2 years ago.
It was in the van that I live in. It was plugging the hole where the air
conditioner need to be!

so do you think i should have used the rubber propane tubing instead of the copper? i thought the copper would be more durable.

Done right I think the copper will serve you better. You did a good job shoring it too.
