They are definitely on the larger side. The platforms themselves are 35” by 79”

I have the same dilemma, I need a door between them. A twin is 39" wide leaving only 12" of space between, not nearly enough. So looks like custom mattresses and sheets. If I narrow the bunks to 30" that will leave 30" between. I'd be happy with 33" mattresses and a 24" door opening.

Yeah, I figured anything bigger was not really necessary, especially since I only have a 3000 W power inverter. That, and I know Cummins Onan gensets are super reliable provided you do your maintenance.

Plus the eBay seller was local, so I don’t have to pay for shipping, and they threw in the harness and control panel as well.

Yet another update on the progress. Bathroom walls are framed in. Shower is gonna go in the back corner, toilet adjacent, and sink on the wall across from the bathroom door. Click image for larger version

Also got a nice pair of coveralls a few days ago as a gift. I recommend everyone invest in a pair for working in the cold. Very warm, very durable, lots of pockets.

can’t wait to get it installed. Also picked up some wire and battery terminals. Gonna hook up my power inverter, breaker box, and all the other basics for my electrical system using the “junk” battery I got. (Was reading 7volts so I threw it on the charger to charge overnight. It’s deep cycle so it should be ok?)

On a totally different note, also bought a led light bar for our cub cadet 6 wheeler because why the hell not? Click image for larger version

So I picked up some 2/0 wire to connect my battery to my power inverter, as well as some battery terminals. Only thing is I don’t have a crimp tool. What does everyone around here recommend? Unless it’s gonna be too low quality I was gonna get his one off harbor freight Click image for larger version

I got it off eBay from a guy that used to own a company that installed generators on RVs and horse trailers that did not come with generators. He was just selling off all stock from his business

I didn't look that tool up but being hydraulic, you will have no issues. Just make sure you use the correct crimping lugs for the wire size.
You can likely rent that same type tool also or just take your cables when measured and have a business do the crimping, say an electrical contractor or electrical jobber that services trucks.
I guess you could resell that tool when you are finished too.
Can't wait to see the genny connected and installed on your bus.
I think you got a good deal on it so take care and it will last a lifetime.

Nice generator. Is it brand new? That is a great price.
