Re: Best Home Yet

I also like the blue and white better, but it's a matter of personal preference. I vaguely remember in your initial series of bus pics you had a picture of your closet and the predominant color of your wardrobe was red. I guess I noticed that because I'm not at all a "red" kinda guy. Anyways, I do like the pattern/graphic you came up with, so regardless of the color, I think it would look cool.

Re: Best Home Yet

If you want to get an idea of what your bus would look like in red and white, check out the link and scroll through the pics. There are some with that color combo. I like the one that's light grey over dark grey with a light roof.

Re: Best Home Yet

hey Rudy- wanted to say hi, and wish me luck, I bid on a nice bus today, will know on the 10th of Dec if I am the high bidder. Nice '99 Thomas 78 passenger rear engine, 5.9 Cummins with the Allison Mt643 auto trans, very clean and has always had superb care from the small school district where it has lived it's whole life. I think it has about 125K on the odometer. It seems I never get to keep the nice buses I get, I always need $$ to pay bills, and then I get outbid on the ones I really want. I'll see if the bad luck streak gets broken this time!

On the bus color debate, why not just add some red and have a patriotic paint scheme? Sort of like Capt. America's chopper? If you are going be bold- go BIG BOLD!

Re: Best Home Yet

I am going to make a 500 mile trip with my bus in two weeks from now. I am kind of nervous. I will not drive at night.

Gotta start packing.
