super cool!!! lookin good!! sounds like you got s lot of the hard stuff done... the plumbing and piping!!

I just got new tires on my bus and the steering wheel shake I had at about 63-65 is now gone... mine was also where I put pressure on one side or the other of the steering and it would go away... I think these big trucks just transmit little imperfections in tires more than a car does...

Driving the bus from here to there and enjoying life both "here and there" is why we put so much work into these conversions! Just enjoy all of it!

Long time no post (almost 15 months). I don't really have the patience to write a full length detailed post about everything we've done. I guess my last post was about our maiden voyage. We made quite a few trips since then, all over Texas and also in Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and as of last night Florida. I'm sitting on a beach in Pensacola writing this post while my wife is still sleeping in the bus.

Brief recap of our trips this past year:
Huntsville State Park (at least 3 or 4 times, this place was our favorite because it was nice and close to home).
Canadian Recreation Area (that's where we go every Memorial Day weekend, in Canton Oklahoma)
Sea Rim State Park
Martin Dies Jr. State Park
Lazy L&L Campground
Fort Parker State Park
Cypress Lake RV Resort (Berwick Louisiana)
Jackson Lake Island (Millbrook Alabama)
Davis Bayou Campground (Gulf Islands National Seashore)
Fort Pickens Campground (Gulf Islands National Seashore)

We moved to Mississippi back around Christmas/New Years, so that has given us a new range. We didn't really get to take the bus out much between November and April because of the move.

We found a nice mechanic's shop here in town and they've done a little work on the bus. Mounted a tow hitch, rerouted my exhaust, replaced a broken transmission cable, and installed a new driver's seat.

We also did a pretty major remodel of the front half of the bus. We gutted our old dining room table and put in some built-in couches. Also, we did away with the foam floor and installed some laminate. We also tore out the old kitchen and will be renovating that next.

All in all, I'm happy we have the bus. Many more adventures to come. If you want to see pictures, my wife posts them on Instagram pretty regularly. https://www.instagram.com/bettythebus/?hl=en
