That would be an excellent deal, cause them babies are heavy. Around here they like to get about $600 a piece for 8Ds. Probably because of all the logging equipment that use those batteries. Here the core of a shot battery is worth $100.

CB; It takes a while to get through one of my six packs. Actually it takes a while to get through one can. I'm a home brewing kegger with 12 kegs. It's hard to keep them all full.

My mechanic said I didn't need 2 since I wouldn't be running all my lights and other accessories. I told him I still wanted the 2 to keep from having any issues in colder climates, plus, two's better than one in this case. I shouldn't hear any clicking or long cycles with my starter for a long while!!

Hey Whiskey, not to sound like a schmuck, but I don't think Sams delivers. Wonder why duracell is getting a 1 star rating on them. Can you post the review?

To be clear, I have no affiliation with Sam's Club, not even a membership. I just thought they could be viewed as a national supplier, and while not as cost effective as the Liberty Battery above, I thought this could suffice in a pinch.

Certainly, Sam's will not deliver these batteries.

The reviews are a bit scary, too.

Edit:
It's not even available everywhere, either:

Thanks for the follow up post! I guess I could have looked that up. Thought you had a member page.

If I were going to buy a battery from a national chain type of place, it would be a truck stop. They usually have service trucks every couple of hundred miles on the interstate to dispatch in case someone has a faulty battery.

Glad I decided to not get those duracell deep cycles from batteries plus afterall.....

2 31's would have sufficed, but no harm in going overkill!
