Re: 26 Blackbird

Okay, I gotcha, I'm probably super light then. So what about the air brakes? There isn't an endorsement for them, just a test. How is a person to prove that they are legally operating an air brake-equipped vehicle? Or, if it's under 26,000 do I even need the air brake test?

Either way, I've already passed all the written tests. I guess I might as well finish with the inspection and driving test. I am somewhat more marketable with what I do if I have it.

Re: 26 Blackbird

Most of the S&S have airbrakes and sadly most operators don't have a clue

I would love to take a hands on airbrake class just for the knowledge

Plenty of great videos and books on operations and testing

Maryland requires the air break test even for RV's. You need to supply your own vehicle, so when I get it back together to be able to drive it. I will take the test.
