Bloody Mary - Bloodmobile conversion

I had posted an introduction. Now I am starting the thread to share my conversion.

Refresher... she's a 1999 40' Bluebird, with a Cummins 5.9l and Allison tranny. Her former life was spent as a bloodmobile for Carter Bloorcare. I picked her up a month ago and I have stripped her out. I have also moved in since putting together a makeshift bedroom. Since she is parked in the backyard, I can easily go inside if necessary. Since I don't have the plumbing built out yet, it's necessary a couple times a day, at least.

You can take a 3D VR tour of her current state here: https://my.matterport.com/show/?m=RTJryu7x1Ym&brand=0

Also, I have been documenting it on youtube and such. My web site links to all of that. buslivin.com

Nice, looks like you are ahead of the game, nice starting point with windows / insulation and such.
Why is the spray foam damaged in the ceiling?

Good luck,
later J

It was insulated prior to the original conversion. They went through and cut out what they needed to run lighting and A/C. It was pretty much a mess. So, as I move forward, I am stripping out the old and running new wiring and circuits for everything. But you are so very right about the starting point. The insulation in the walls is solid and I will probably only add one window up front.

Cool VR walkthru. That's a first on this Board.

I could see the family resemblance from the big photo on the wall. You take after the Wookie, it seems.

Looking forward to a wild build after the amazing intro. I bet you like your gadgets and gizmos.

Welcome !

Rusty, I do like my gadgets and gizmos! And yes, Part wookie on my dad's side.

Thanks! And if anyone is near the DFW, Texas area, or somewhere I am going to be, I can create a virtual tour of their skoolie for a really good price. That's one of the things I do for a living. I usually do it for houses though.

VERY cool walk thru! I would imagine you stay pretty busy with real estate presentations. Nice work!
