Never seen a roof raise done that way before.
What did you lift the roof with?
Great pics.
Thanks for sharing.

After reading your thread I went with the scaffold to raise the roof. The leveling jacks that i got for the scaffold would only raise it 16 inches and we ended up with a 18 inch raise. the rood seemed to stay really steady and went up super easy.

It has been a while since I have updated. Well we have most of the sheet metal on the sides of the bus done and all the holes in the floor sealed up and painted. Next project have I need to tackle is the transitions at the front and the back. We kind of want to do some kind of sky light at the front transition but want to make sure while driving down the road water isn't being pushed inside. More pics to follow soon!

hey everyone it has been a while since i updated anything with the bus. we are still making some progress. i added 2 inches on insulation to the floor, my wife paint the back of the bus, done some framing, and put cedar siding up over the windows. i got really tired of metal and wanted a more organic look. here are a few pictures of what has been going on. hope you enjoy!

Don't worry, that's a good thing. Think of it like, "Hey, that cedar siding is Awesome!"

Maybe 90% done now!
Hey all!
It has been a long time since Ive been on here we have moved around some while trying to finish the bus and have been really busy. We have been living in the bus full time since October 2016 and we have loved every minute of it. Still have some more work to do on the inside and I'm currently working on getting it road ready for our 400 mile move to the Cincinnati area in 2 weeks. Here are some pics of the outside and Ill be working on getting some of the inside.
